What is eMIDAS_SM?

Man Financial introduces eMIDAS_SM , Man International Data Access System, your source for instant access to information about your trading account. This online access site gives users the capability to view and print their account information and to format data for automatic downloading to their favorite spreadsheet, database or other program.

Owners and managers of multiple accounts can also use the program's powerful inquiry function to sort data by field for completely customized viewing or real-time trade matching.

eMIDAS_SM is secure and monitored to ensure confidentiality -- and it's available only to clients of Man Financial companies. 

What are the PC requirements?

PC - Pentium processor or faster. Apple Macintosh IIci or faster

Operating System - Windows 95/NT/98

Monitor Screen Resolution - Color/VGA Monitor with minimum screen size 640x480 (Super VGA with screen size 800x600 is highly recommended)

Browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher and Netscape Navigator 4.51 or higher

Modem - Minimum 28.8 Baud Modem (56K V.90 Modem is highly recommended)

Where is the eMIDAS_SM website and is it secure?

The website address is https://www.emidas.com. The site is secured by SSL encryption technology. Additionally, to protect our eMIDAS_SM users, log-in attempts are monitored, if a user incorrectly log-ins five times in a row, the user ID is disabled and will need to be reset by the system administrator.

How do I get my daily equity statement online?

The Reports section allows the user to view or download to a file the account activity reports that are produced by Man Financial.

Select Reports from the Main Menu. Click on Equity Run from the Navigational Menu. Previous business day is the default processing date and is highlighted in blue for easy reference. To choose a different processing date, just click the day on the calendar. Two weeks of daily information and 3 months of monthly information are available.

Click on Select All Accounts. Click Get Report. If you wish to see the report online, click View in Frame. If you wish to print the report, we suggest you choose Create Text File or Create Adobe PDF File. The report can then be printed from Notepad or Adobe.

What time will my reports be available in the morning?

Daily Statements and Equity Runs are available by 6:30am CST for data for the previous business day. Monthly Statements are available by 6:30am CST on the first day of the next month. For example, March 1999 Monthly Statements were available by 6:30am CST on April 1, 1999.

How can I get my reports to print out with the correct page breaks?

When running a report, choose Create Text File or Create Adobe PDF File. Save the file as a TXT or PDF, respectively. If the report is a TXT file, open it with Notepad. All reports are landscape so reset the Print Setup accordingly. To eliminate wrapped lines, reset the report to a smaller font size. Adobe is used to open PDF files. Manipulate the page and font settings in Adobe under View.

What other functionality is available on eMIDAS_SM?

Reports – There are six types of reports available – Daily Statements, Equity Runs, Monthly Statements, Delivery Positions, Expiring Options and Margin Calls.

Inquiry -- This function allows users to create ad hoc queries on historical data for Account Balances, Trades, Open Positions, Cash Entries, Adjustments and Purchase and Sales. There is also Top Day (Real-time) trading information for Trades, Cash Entries and Adjustments.

Datafeeds -- This function allows users to create file downloads of historical data for Account Balances, Trades, Open Positions, Cash Entries, Adjustments and Purchase and Sales. There is also Top Day (Real-time) trading information for Trades, Cash Entries and Adjustments.

Trade Match -- This function is used by clients to match trades against real-time trade data from Man Financial's system. Users download a trade file to our secured server and then view the results online. The results displayed are the trades that have not matched from both the user's file and from Man Financial.

How can I get access to eMIDAS_SM?

Contact your King Commodities Account Executive. They will fill out the correct authorization forms and supply you with a username and password. They can also arrange for training.
